The primary areas of activity for WWPI include regulatory and market outreach programs aimed at sustaining a viable western North American preserved wood industry. WWPI members produce pressure treated dimensional lumber and timbers, poles, posts, piling, utility poles and crossarms, and other specialty products. WWPI provides training to architects, specifiers, building code officials and others involved in the building construction industry. WWPI also provides training standards seminars to the electrical utility industry.
