The Whitestone Team brings extensive expertise in the various federal, state and city programs which help finance the development of apartments and mixed-use projects. Frequently, these programs make feasible projects which might otherwise not get built. WRC is either developing or co-developing a number of projects in downtown locations around the United States. With tax credits programs such as federal and state historic tax credits, low income tax credits and others, additional equity is available to get projects financed in these challenging times. WRC also brings significant value engineering to projects which significantly reduces costs and allows new developments to effectively compete for money against distressed projects. 

WRC has access to and is licensed for certain patented technologies that allow building to be constructed at substantially reduced costs and those buildings will qualify for LEED certification and frequently LEED Silver. WRC also has access to certain subcontractors who have trade secrets which will also reduce costs. As a result, WRC is able to significantly increase the returns to its projects through the application of these technologies and our knowledge of the various state and federal financing programs, grants and tax credits.
