Whole Family Health Center (WFHC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that began providing medical services in 1997, as an HIV clinic called the AIDS Research and Treatment Center of the Treasure Coast. In 2013, the board of directors decided to expand the organization’s mission to provide comprehensive primary care services to all medically underserved community members regardless of patient’s socio-economic status and ability to pay. At that time the organization was renamed Whole Family Health Center in order to reflect the new community-wide focus. Currently, a group of 50+ staff and contracted employees, under the guidance and direction of a Board of Directors, carry on the responsibility of providing exceptional primary care services, behavioral health services, on-site community pharmacy, on-site specimen collection lab and case management to all patients and consumers in a caring and enthusiastic manner. Located along the Treasure Coast region of Florida, which was named after a Spanish treasure fleet sank off the area during a hurricane in 1715, WFHC has a location in Fort Pierce, FL, St. Lucie County, and another in Vero Beach, FL, Indian River County.
