OUR HISTORY Originally bought at a sheriff’s sale in 1934 by Russell Widmer and his son Ed, the sign company began in a one car garage. During the early 1980’s, Widmer Sign moved into the former Park Outdoor Advertising building on Amelia Avenue. Now, four generations later, Widmer continues to grow with the demands of the business community. In 2007, we purchased the property across the street and have expanded once again with the renovations of an existing building and a new structure to increase our total production area to over 15,000 square feet. Widmer Sign has all the necessary equipment and expertise to plan, design, manufacture, install and service signs for every size business and budget. OUR MISSION is not to be the biggest sign company, but to always provide the best sign for our customers. We would like to think that we help organizations get greater visibility through a better designed sign. All of our employees have over 10 years experience in the sign industry and their talents shine in the end product. We work to establish long term relationships with our customers and to provide a stable, enjoyable workplace. OUR GOAL We specialize in helping new businesses get started, even offering recycled signs at discounts. We help existing businesses refresh their look and receive operating cost savings through the installation of Energy Efficient LEDs, We help larger, regional organizations achieve cohesive branding of new logos or as part of mergers.
