Wikinvest offers a portfolio management tool designed to unify the user’s investment accounts into a single view. The system establishes secure connections to user brokerages and automatically imports holdings across stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds, with nightly refreshes to reduce manual data entry. It supports imports from more than 60 brokerages, and if a user’s brokerage isn’t listed, they can still create portfolios and watchlists manually. Wikinvest, based in the United States, provides real-time news and live price feeds, along with in-depth analytics and a highly customizable dashboard aligned to an investor’s preferences. It also enables users to compare their portfolio performance against benchmarks such as the S&P and the Dow. In August 2010, Wikinvest announced a mobile initiative, launching an iPhone app to extend access to its portfolio management service.
