The Wild Orchard Farmstead, located on Jeju Island, South Korea, is a sprawling 1,000-acre, single-origin, single-estate tea farm, the largest in the country. Our tea trees are uniquely grown from seed—not grafted or transplanted—allowing them to develop deeper roots that absorb more nutrients and water from the mineral-rich volcanic soil. This results in stronger, healthier trees and an unparalleled depth of flavor in every cup. Healthy living soil, combined with abundant rainfall, natural pest control from circulating winds, and a mild sea breeze, provides an ideal environment for cultivating our resilient tea plants.

Wild Orchard teas have earned 27 medals at the most prestigious global tea competitions, and can be found in top organic retailers like Whole Foods, Sprouts, and many others. Our award-winning teas are also featured in Michelin-rated restaurants, where they are celebrated for their purity and exceptional quality.

In May 2022, Wild Orchard became the first tea farm in the world to achieve Regenerative Organic Certification (ROC)—the highest standard for soil health, animal welfare, and farmworker fairness. This certification affirms our commitment to sustainability and the careful stewardship of our farm, ensuring a truly seed-to-cup experience with every sip.

Our farm’s dedication to purity is evident in every step of the process. From planting non-grafted, seed-grown trees to raising them in their natural environment among native grass and weeds, our tea plants are nurtured with minimal intervention to build their resilience.

Additionally, our teas undergo a four-step washing process—a rare practice in the industry—designed to remove dirt and ultra-fine particulates. This ensures the cleanest possible tea, free from contaminants like “Yellow Dust,” a pollutant that affects much of East Asia.
