Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Inc. is a Texas-based nonprofit that rescues, rehabilitates, and releases wild animals, while also maintaining a sanctuary for resident animals. Based on a 212-acre site in the Texas Hill Country near Austin and San Antonio, the organization receives more than 10,000 wild animals annually for rehabilitation and release, and cares for over 600 resident animals, including indigenous wildlife, non-native species, and farmed animals. Beyond its wildlife work, the organization offers limited help for homeless companion animals and feral cats and provides nonlethal guidance on human-wildlife conflicts, along with public education to promote respectful coexistence with nature.
