WildWorks is a computer games developer founded in 2003 by industry veterans and based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The studio brings together artists, engineers, educators, safety experts, and media professionals to create engaging experiences with substance across online casual games and mobile titles. The company’s flagship project, Animal Jam, was launched in 2010 in collaboration with National Geographic and targets children who are interested in animals and the natural world; a mobile extension, Animal Jam - Play Wild!, followed in 2015 to reach more players. WildWorks operates in the computer games industry, targeting families and younger players with online social worlds and engaging gameplay. In 2022 the company was acquired by Nazara Technologies, and around the same time it announced NFT-related initiatives, including a planned avatar line and a create-to-earn economy on the Solana blockchain.
