Brock Wilks and Craig Barnes founded Wilks Funeral Home in 2008 after observing a need to transform the way a traditional funeral home operates. Beginning with the interior and exterior design, they focused on designing a funeral home where the family and guests' comfort are paramount.  They felt that if a funeral home was designed specifically for certain functions, events would go smoother and would be more memorable for the experience rather than the process.  They often hear that there is a different more comforting feel at Wilks Funeral Home.

Another goal in establishing Wilks Funeral Home was to raise the standards in funeral service without raising the overall costs of funerals.  By offering a dedicated reception are for families to gather over meals, they are happy to have achieved that goal. 

Their pledge is to provide a superior and unprecedented level of service to those families who entrust them with the care of their loved one. It is their commitment to exceed the expectations of the individuals and families they serve.   

Wilks Funeral Home facilitates the funeral details, making it a fulfilling experience, while allowing families to concentrate on the necessary healing process when vital relationships have become vacated in their lives.  We acknowledge there is little that can be done to alleviate the sorrow, but we hope to lighten the burden during one of life's most difficult milestones.
