The Willamette Valley Wineries Association (WVWA) is a non-profit organization in the U.S. wine industry that promotes the Willamette Valley in Oregon as a premier Pinot Noir region. It has more than 400 members, including wineries, vineyards, hospitality and other industry businesses, spanning the Willamette Valley AVA from Portland to Eugene. Founded in 1986 as the Yamhill County Wineries Association with 11 member wineries, the group expanded in 2004 to cover the entire Willamette Valley and adopted its current name, and the Willamette Valley is the oldest AVA in Oregon with designation in 1983. WVWA organizes major wine events such as the two oldest and largest wine touring events in Oregon, Wine Country Thanksgiving and Memorial Weekend in Wine Country, and runs the Pinot Noir Auction, a large annual trade-only auction that began in 2016. The organization is based in Portland, Oregon, and maintains a website at willamettewines.com; it employs 11-50 people.
