Williams Wholesale Supply of Nashville, Inc. was founded in 2005 by John Hannah, Richard Tanner, Roy Williams and Bobby Williams. They opened the Nashville, Tennessee location on Cowan Street in 2005 as an independent full-line electrical wholesale distributor. A second location was added in Columbia, Tennessee in 2014, serving Columbia and surrounding markets. The Nashville and Columbia locations were purchased by Richard Tanner and John Hannah in 201,5 serving the commercial, residential, utility and industrial electrical markets.

Williams Wholesale name was changed to Williams Electric Supply Co. in May, 2019 for better clarification in the markets we serve. As a locally-owned and true independent distributor, we take pride in our family traditions. Local decision-making, dedicated customer service and customer satisfaction are our priorities.
