Williamson County Schools is a public K-12 school district based in Franklin, Tennessee, serving a large student population in the region. It oversees 52 campuses—11 high schools, 11 middle schools, 29 elementary schools, and one K-8 school—and educates about 42,000 students. As part of the education administration sector, the district provides governance, programming, and operational oversight for its schools to support learning across Williamson County. In May 2026, Williamson County Schools launched a Fire Management Program developed in collaboration with the City of Franklin, the Franklin Fire Department, and the district’s Innovation Center. The inaugural class was completed with an awards ceremony on May 20, 2026.
