Wilson Fuel Co. Limited is an Atlantic Canada–based energy and home‑services group with roots dating to 1909, when Wilsons Heating was founded to heat buildings built by the family’s construction business and to support the region after the Halifax Explosion. The company began by delivering coal, later shifting to oil while remaining the area’s independent local supplier, and propane was added in the 1970s. In the 2000s, Wilsons Heating expanded into heat pumps and air handling by integrating Halifax Heating Residential under the Wilsons Mechanical banner, and in 2017 Moncton Propane Services joined to broaden propane offerings into New Brunswick.

Wilsons Security was created in 2009 and operates independently from the heating and mechanical divisions, providing residential and commercial security, fire, and life-safety solutions across cities in Canada. The group historically ran a network of gasoline and convenience-store retailers in Atlantic Canada until 2022, and it maintains a commitment to community initiatives and nonprofit support, including a Red Cross of Nova Scotia humanitarian award in 2011 granted to family members. The company is based in Truro, Nova Scotia, and presents itself as a long-standing Atlantic Canada presence delivering heating, climate-control, propane, and safety services.
