In late 2004, Tom Carnahan, president and founder of Wind Capital Group, noticed a growing need for renewable energy as well as an untouched resource in his home state of Missouri...wind. While every surrounding state was harnessing wind energy for power, Missouri, for no apparent reason, was being left behind. Since then, Wind Capital Group has developed the first four wind farms in Missouri and spread its wings far beyond the borders of Carnahan’s home state.
