WEAC is a Wisconsin-based organization that represents the public policy, labor and professional interests of educators and related education professionals. It serves as a collective voice for the state's public schools and the roughly 865,000 children they educate, and it operates within the broader National Education Association network. Its membership includes public school teachers, counselors, library media specialists, education support staff in K-12, Wisconsin Technical College System faculty and staff, active retired members, and university students training to become educators.
