Established in 1912 by William Erath, our company was originally founded as Central Tile Company in Brooklyn, New York. Now, over 110 years and five generations later, Wm. Erath & Son, Inc is one of the longest established, most distinguished ceramic tile & natural stone commercial contractors in the New York Tri-State area. Over the years we have mastered a wide spectrum of professionally completed high end installations including hotel lobbies and bathrooms, corporate office’s executive conference rooms and suites, reception areas, core bathrooms, cafeterias, lounges, restaurants and bars, grand staircases and exterior building facades.

Today, the company is owned/operated by great-grandson Scott W. Erath whose own son, fifth generation Thomas W. Erath, has been a part of the family business for over 15 years. Scott W. Erath keeps the tradition of high quality installations and excellent customer service on all commercial projects. As a result, their clients such as general contractors, building owners and architects continuously entrust Erath to complete each project with the highest of standards.
