Wold Oil Properties (WOP) is a privately held, independent oil and gas company engaged in exploration and production as a fully integrated operator. The company was founded in the early 1950s by John S. Wold and is today owned and managed by his sons, Peter and Jack Wold. Headquartered in Casper, Wyoming, it maintains an office in Denver, Colorado. 
WOP coordinates geological and geophysical programs with land matters such as permitting, leasing, records, and negotiations with partners and governmental agencies. Engineering directs drilling and completion, pipeline construction, and product marketing, while field staff maintain producing assets, and the accounting team, including CPAs, handles AR, AP, payroll, revenue, cash management and product hedging.
