Wonders & Worries is a mental health care organization that offers free, professional support to children and teens whose families are navigating a parent’s serious illness or injury. Its team consists of pediatric clinicians trained to understand the developmental impact of illness and injury, guiding youth through a structured six-session curriculum for illness education and coping. Since 2001, it has supported more than 21,000 children and parents, with services delivered in English and Spanish at in-person locations across Central Texas, Houston, San Antonio, and Atlanta, and with virtual sessions available nationwide. 

In addition to direct child-focused work, Wonders & Worries provides parent consultations and resources to help families communicate with their children while managing their own health challenges. The organization is based in Austin, Texas, and maintains in-person sites across the listed regions while offering nationwide virtual access and directing families outside core areas to suitable national resources. In 2023, Wonders & Worries added Electronics Representatives Association as a new client, reflecting expansion of its partnerships alongside continuing core services.
