WoodMaxxPower Equipment Ltd. was started by an Army infantry veteran of 14 years in 2008. The idea was conceived while looking for a compact, yet strong PTO chipper, that could hold-up to the rigors of clearing multi-acre parcel lots. Unsatisfied with any of the machines available on the market, Woodmaxx set out to develop their own.Through much research & development, the first WoodMaxx chipper was created. Today there are thousands of WoodMaxx implements in service worldwide and still going strong.


The WoodMaxx team is forward thinking and is always looking for the next innovation to incorporate into their machines. With the understanding that the needs of the customer are always first and foremost, WoodMaxx has taken the success of the PTO chippers and has integrated the same principle of quality build and exclusive features into their extensive line of products. WoodMaxx Power Equipment offers: PTO wood chippers, PTO backhoes, PTO snow blowers, PTO flail mowers, PTO rotary tillers, skid steer mounted snow blowers, skid steer mounted wood chippers, and stump grinders. Additionally, WoodMaxx is actively working to innovate new and exciting products for the agricultural and forestry markets, with a solid foundation built on hard work, ingenuity, and integrity that will stand the test of time.

Our headquarters is centrally located between Rochester and Buffalo, NY. Woodmaxx is an e-commerce wholesaler and the OEM of the MX-series products. WoodMaxx is a profit sharing business, which allows our employees a stake in the business. This helps to ensure that everyone here has skin in the game, and that every detail is attended to. We now have departments that include full time positions in; sales, engineering, marketing, parts and service, and several experienced shop technicians.
