Works Consulting is a team of GIS experts specializing in linear referencing systems (LRS). Our professional background in civil and transportation engineering offers a combination of GIS and practical roadway industry know-how that delivers renown business solutions for public agencies that manage their transportation infrastructure electronically. Our team specializes in regional and federal reporting requirements that capture the extent, condition, and operational attributes of roadways across the United States including Puerto Rico. The Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) and the Model Inventory of Roadway Elements (MIRE) are federal databases which we supply and maintain on behalf of our clients. We accomplish much of our work using our commercially-available and efficient GIS software add-ins for the Esri ArcGIS Pro technology stack – called LrsTools for ArcGIS Pro. We are an Esri Partner Network member with the ArcGIS System Ready Specialty. We are savvy to Esri Roads and Highways workflows and user needs – and we extend the power of Linear Referencing beyond Roads and Highways.
