The World Business Academy is a Santa Barbara–based nonprofit think tank and action incubator inspiring business leaders to drive positive change for society and the planet, while still achieving profitability. For nearly 40 years, our work has been grounded in deep research into the critical environmental, economic, and social challenges of our time—championing servant leadership, sustainable energy, conscious business practices, and how to effectively deploy “stakeholder capitalism” in order to better achieve higher profits by aligning profit with purpose.

Our work spans thought leadership, advocacy, and on-the-ground projects addressing urgent global challenges, most notably climate change, and their effects on personal financial well-being and corporate success. We’ve been a consistent voice for sustainable energy use, renewable energy innovation, and environmentally responsible production methods, all for the purpose of identifying opportunities while minimizing associated risks.
