World Link Inc is a private nonprofit organization based in Kalona, Iowa. It develops intercultural understanding and collaboration skills in youth through exchange programs, leadership development, and rural entrepreneurship initiatives conducted worldwide. Programs are delivered through publicly sponsored exchanges aligned with public diplomacy goals, with country choices determined by government sponsors. The organization traces its roots to the founders' involvement in exchange programs dating to 1993 and was officially formed in 2002 through a merger of the international program departments of the National FFA Organization and the Russian Rural Youth Union. Today it operates with a small core staff and a network of local coordinators to implement its programs, and has engaged more than 3,000 student participants and 300 teachers.
