Mission World Services of La Crosse is a leader in the development and implementation of international partnerships designed to advance health, civil society, public administration and the environment, to promote peace and mutual understanding in countries throughout the world. World Services’ programs focus on a number of governmental, health, human services and cultural topics, all of which are designed to promote global citizenship and processes that can lead to improved quality of life and, ultimately, world peace. World Services is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that develops programs, people and leaders to bring new methods, new visions, strategic plans and ethical development through international partnerships. Two major areas in which we work: • International Consulting - Through subcontracts from agencies funded by organizations such as the US Agency for International Development (USAID), we provide consultation to improve the human and organizational functioning of local organizations in other countries. • We are a national hosting organization for US agencies such as the Open World Leadership Center and the USAID Community Connections program.
