World Sport Chicago promotes access and participation in neighborhood sport by strengthening and supporting those in Chicago that use sport as a community building tool. Sport, and the skills that precede it, are essential to youth development and necessary for strong, vibrant communities. We engage on-the-ground expertise to tackle complex challenges such as income constraints, social marginalization, urbanism, and public safety to establish and sustain new programming, encourage collaboration, and develop awareness of the joy and benefits of a lifetime of sport.
