The City of Wyndham is one of the fastest growing municipalities in Australia. Home to more than 288,000 residents, our population is expected to reach 500,000 by 2040. We are a diverse municipality, with more than 50 per cent of our residents born overseas. We are also home to young families. The average age is 32 and more than 100 babies are born each week. The City also boasts premier sporting and recreational facilities including Aquapulse, Eagle Stadium, Chirnside Park, Werribee and Sanctuary Lakes Golf Clubs and Werribee Racecourse. It will also soon be home to a $150 million 15,000-seat stadium – home to A-League team Western United. The City has recently upgraded more than 200 parks across the municipality and is investing millions of dollars creating an Active Transport Network, improving walking and cycling paths for all our residents to enjoy.
