Company history Since 1975, XL Fire Protection Company has specialized in the design,installation, repair and testing of fire sprinkler systems. As a full service company, all facets of the business remain in-house. This helps to provide customers with the quickest, most professional, and highest quality products and service on the market today. President, Greg Caniglia, has been in the fire protection industry all his life. In fact, he is the third generation in his family to embrace the business. Mr. Caniglia received his Business Degree from Cal–Poly Pomona, and owned his own small sprinkler company in the late 80's. Upon joining XL Fire Protection, he worked in sales for a number of years before buying into the company and ultimately becoming president of the corporation. What we do As a fire sprinkler contractor, XL Fire Protection is responsible for the design, calculations, testing, repair, installation, and the retrofit of sprinkler systems. Customers include a variety of types of facilities, such as hotels, hospitals, schools, warehouses, high-rise buildings, apartment buildings and even custom homes. Projects are either part of new builds, or are tenant improvement projects. Since the company is a full service contractor, housing every aspect of the business in its own facility, it targets large jobs that require top quality service.
