İstanbul Eğitim ve Kültür Vakfı (İSTEK) tarafından 1996 yılında kurulan Yeditepe Üniversitesi; Türkiye’de birçok alanda öncü, seçkin, akademik ve yönetim kadroları ile Atatürkçü düşüncelerin ışığında çağdaş, araştırmacı, yenilikçi, iş dünyasının ihtiyaç duyduğu tüm nitelik ve donanıma sahip, teknolojiye hakim, dünya kültürünü tanıyan, öz benliğini güçlendirmiş gençler yetiştirmeyi amaçlıyor. Üniversitemiz, çağdaş akademik program ve uygulamalarıyla bilgi çağına dönük eğitim yapıyor.

Yeditepe Üniversitesi akademik faaliyetlerini Diş Hekimliği, Eczacılık, Eğitim, Fen-Edebiyat, Güzel Sanatlar, Hukuk, İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler, İletişim, Mimarlık, Mühendislik, Sağlık Bilimleri, Tıp ve Bilgisayar ve Bilişim Bilimleri olmak üzere 13 Fakülte, 2 Yüksekokul ve 1 Meslek Yüksekokulu’nda toplam 69 programda lisans ve 4 ön lisans programı ile eğitim veriyor. Ayrıca Atatürk İlkeleri ve İnkılap Tarihi, Avrupa Çalışmaları, Eğitim Bilimleri, Fen Bilimleri, Sağlık Bilimleri ve Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüleri bünyesindeki 91 yüksek lisans ve 44 doktora programında lisansüstü düzeyde eğitimlerini yürütüyor. Eğitim dili İngilizce olan Yeditepe Üniversitesi, kurulduğu günden bu yana 26 Ağustos Yerleşimi içerisinde Türkiye'nin dört bir yanından gelen gençleri hayata hazırlıyor.
