YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW) is an association of nine YMCAs and program centers that offer life-changing programs for children, families and adults throughout Chester County, Pennsylvania. YGBW was named a 2025 Top Workplace by The Philadelphia Inquirer for the second consecutive year. In 2024, we awarded $2.6 Million dollars in financial assistance to ensure that all members of the community have access to our services - regardless of race, gender, faith, abilities or financial means. MISSION: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy mind, body and spirit for all. VISION: To be a catalyst for improving the quality of life and well-being for all in our community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. CAUSE: To strengthen the foundations of our community. With more than 87,000 members across Chester County, our programs and facilities are always based on the unique needs and interests of the communities we serve. In addition, our volunteers, staff, members and donors are all united by a deep commitment to continually strengthen Chester County. Communities are strongest when all have the opportunity to belong, grow and thrive.
