Expanding public appreciation and stewardship of wetlands and wildlife in the Yolo Basin through education and innovative partnerships.

Yolo Basin Foundation's principal goal is to facilitate environmental education about the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area. Yolo Basin Foundation's largest program and main focus is Discover the Flyway, an environmental education program for K-12 schools. 

Yolo Basin Foundation's other programs and activities include: Wild About Wetlands Educational Kits, California Duck Days Festival, Bat Talk and Walks, public tours of the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area and the City of Davis Wetlands, Flyway Nights lecture series, Explorer Series fieldtrips, Nature Bowl, and conservation activities related to the San Francisco Bay Delta including facilitating the Yolo Bypass Working Group and field trips for elected officials and agency leaders.
