There is a huge influx of individuals relocating to Los Angeles, CA from all corners of the world in a quest to pursue their own personal goals and aspirations; however, a majority of these individuals lose their sense of “hometown community” throughout this transition and are forced to regain some sense of community – community in a city that is oftentimes presumed to be massive and daunting. Some, feeling overpowered and unconnected, return home never accomplishing their goals, others remain but never fully grasp the wonders of true community within the city of Los Angeles, CA. Out of this concept arose the idea for Yoo-N-LA magazine.

Yoo-N-LA is a magazine for individuals around the ages of 18-30 years old, that are looking to get connected with like-minded people and events within the city of Los Angeles, CA for communal and/or networking gain – in particular, individuals that strive to be active in their community and seek ways to help others, while simultaneously pursuing personal dreams and aspirations of their own.
