Alisa does not permit or advocate the use of choke collars, prong collars or shock collars, or aversive methods such as yelling or hitting. Alisa will show you how to use a gentler approach to train your dog! Alisa has worked as a dog trainer since 2003 and started her company You Silly Dog in 2006. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. She is also a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), a member of the Pet Professional Guild and a founding member of Baltimore Force Free. In 2013, Alisa won Baltimore Magazine's Best of Baltimore for Best Dog Trainer. Alisa has taught hundreds of dogs and their people through group classes and private lessons. Alisa continues her education through animal behavior seminars and workshops.
