Your Story and a Flashlight is a Narrative Coaching and Spiritual Direction practice co-founded by Rachel and Mark Terrell. They provide learning experiences in a safe environment for individuals or groups to make changes by claiming their stories to discover their authentic selves.

Mark Terrell. D.Min.
Is a Spiritual Director and Founder of an non-profit serving youth who are homeless in Spokane, WA. He meets with people across the nation and locally for spiritual direction. Mark has over 25 years of experience working in ministry and social services. He has a Doctorate of Ministry and Certificate of Spiritual Direction. His personal experience with spiritual direction has sustained him in ministry and allowed him to live freely and authentically. 
Mark is committed to creating a safe space for all to rest, reflect, and restore. 

Rachel Terrell, M.A.T.
Is a trained Narrative Coach and Certified Integrative Development Practitioner who has spent 20 years working with students, adults and teams in areas of: education and training, leadership development, and personal/ professional growth. She has extensive experience guiding groups and individuals through various life thresholds. 
She provides learning experiences for teams and individual coaching sessions for those interested in exploring, creating and sustaining change. Rachel believes everything we need is already present- just waiting to be discovered.
