YouthLink MN is a Minnesota-based nonprofit organization that supports young people ages 16-24 who are experiencing homelessness in the Twin Cities metro area. It operates a daytime drop-in center in downtown Minneapolis, providing for basic needs such as food, showers, laundry facilities, clothing, health and mental health services, and access to technology and phones, alongside case management and other resources to help youths maintain housing and pursue education or career pathways. The organization also runs two supportive housing complexes with a combined 88 units and numerous scatter-site housing arrangements across the metro, aiming to stabilize housing while addressing ongoing needs through coordinated services. Since its founding in 1974 (originally as the Minnesota Youth Diversion Program) and formal nonprofit incorporation in 1978, YouthLink has sought to streamline access to resources by partnering with community organizations to create a one-stop service model, reducing barriers of time and transportation for the youth it serves. In recent years, YouthLink has expanded collaborations and added leadership roles to support its mission, including appointing a new Director of Development in 2026.
