Yuma Community Food Bank is a nonprofit organization serving Yuma and the broader southwestern Arizona region. Its mission is to relieve hunger, foster self-reliance, and improve quality of life for children and families. The organization was founded in 1978 by volunteers to address the needs of hungry children in Yuma County. It operates emergency and supplemental food programs with educational and nutritional components targeted at the youngest members of the community. These programs aim to support children and families facing food insecurity in southwestern Arizona. In February 2024, the food bank announced a partnership with Alexander Toyota to support its work.
