Zipper Geo Associates (ZGA) is a geotechnical and environmental consulting firm founded in 2012. Our services combine local experience and geotechnical expertise to serve a wide range of private and public sector clients, including banks, engineering and architectural firms, developers, and real estate investment companies looking for the highest level of expertise. ZGA’s principals include two licensed geotechnical engineers and three licensed geologists—four specializing in geotechnical engineering and one with a PhD in environmental geology. Their collective experience in the Pacific Northwest market totals 150 years. Our staff currently includes a senior consultant with more than 35 years local experience and four staff geologists. We have a strong quality orientation and price our projects based on a thorough, well-engineered scope of work consistent with both regulatory/code requirements and the local standard of practice. Our work is highly regarded by regulators in local building, planning, and environmental agencies. To complement our four core service areas, we offer specialized retaining wall work and expert witness services. We also have SCS certification and can take on large public works projects with these requirements. ZGA is a GBA Peer Reviewed firm. ZGA is a certified King County Small Contractor and Supplier (SCS).
