Expansive footprint Ace Hardware operates the world’s largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative with over 5,800 locally owned stores across ~70 countries, indicating broad B2B and B2C sales opportunities through cooperative partnerships, distributors, and regional distributors.

Recent store innovation The Elevate Ace experiential store concept launched in 2024 has driven a notable uplift in same-store sales, signaling a strong opportunity to pitch experiential retail solutions, in-store technology, and customer engagement programs to accelerate ROI for new and existing locations.

Tech and analytics Ace uses a mix of enterprise and marketing tech (Sage Intacct, DocuSign, Piwik PRO, Trello, Zoom, etc.), presenting opportunities to offer integrated financial, e-commerce, CRM, data analytics, and digital transformation services to optimize operations and customer insights.

Advertising and delivery Recent launches include on-demand delivery partnerships with DoorDash and a new advertising capability, presenting sales avenues for logistics optimization, media monetization, local targeting campaigns, and performance-based advertising for suppliers and local stores.

Global and local growth With rapid international expansion including new stores in the UK, Kuwait, and planned U.S. locations, there is a need for scalable supply chain, ERP, and multi-market compliance solutions, as well as partnerships to support store openings and regional merchandising.
