We are proud to announce that 2023 marks the 40th Anniversary of the founding of Adelaide Environmental Health. We are incredibly grateful for our customers and employees who have helped make our firm one of the best at what we do: detecting hazardous materials in schools, churches, synagogues, and a wide variety of other public and private structures in the state of New York, and then developing plans to remove those materials - be it asbestos, lead, mold or PCBs and monitoring that removal. Our firm is an approved consultant on the New York State Office of General Services roster, now servicing our fourth consecutive term contract with OGS. And our work is also well known and well received by government agencies such as GSA, USPS, DOT, DOD, DASNY, NYPA, and numerous others for whom we have worked on a wide variety of projects as a term, prime, or subconsultant. A frequent scenario in our history is to be hired as subconsultant by the architect of record to conduct hazardous materials investigations and design the abatement specifications. We are often then hired as prime consultant by the school district or other owner, to conduct project monitoring and final clearances. Using Adelaide as the abatement design firm as well as the monitoring and final inspection team provides owners with a seamless, well-coordinated operation where requirements are understood and adhered to, and goals are clearly defined and fulfilled, i.e. we will write the specifications, and then make sure they are met.
