Adura Technologies is an energy management company that provides best in class solutions for existing buildings. A clean energy technology venture applying low-power wireless mesh networking to the lighting controls market. We design, manufacture and commission our lighting management solutions. Our mission is to provide cost effective lighting solutions for retrofit of commercial buildings so that building owners, tenants, and facility managers can implement energy efficiency and load curtailment strategies reducing their operating cost and their carbon footprint. The core wireless technology was developed at the University of California, Berkeley Center for the Built Environment by Charlie Huizenga, one of Adura's founders. Adura was subsequently granted a partial exclusive license and has since developed an IP portfolio based on uses and improvements to the core technology.
