Dave Duea, our founder and leader, is a military veteran with over 58 years of experience in the fire protection industry.  Dave Duea entered the fire protection industry immediately after serving our country overseas in the military and has spent his entire career equipping the courageous.  Dave has also led several industry organizations focused on improving the fire protection industry.  FIRE ETC’s leadership team is made up of retired fire service professionals, retired Navy Special Warfare team members, former law enforcement officers and spouses of retired fire service professionals.  We believe in a higher calling--a greater purpose--and we strive to make a difference in the world—especially in Southern California.  FIRE ETC is Southern California’s complete source for fire and safety equipment and related services.  We strive to provide the best equipment and service to our customers.  Whether that means sourcing the latest thermal cameras, outfitting aspiring firefighters in rental turnouts, fitting professionals in the latest boots, offering cleaning and educational services around the latest NFPA 1851 standards, or certifying and deploying alternative fire suppression systems on ships in our local shipyards, we stive to help in any way we can.
