Based in Singapore's Central Region, the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) operates in the hospitals and health care sector as the national coordinator of aged care services. Its history begins in 1992 as Care Liaison Services under the Ministry of Health, evolving into Integrated Care Services in 2001, then adopting its current name in 2008 and becoming an independent corporate entity under MOH Holdings in 2009. In 2018, AIC was designated the single agency to coordinate aged care delivery and to strengthen service development and manpower capability across health and social domains, with the Silver Generation Office joining that year.
