Since our inception in July 2008, Akers Media has grown from a dynamic publishing house to a comprehensive, award-winning advertising agency. We take pride in our roots as the publisher of four beloved regional magazines: Lake & Sumter Style, Villages Style, Healthy Living Central Florida, and our annual visitor’s guide Welcome to Lake. 

Our commitment to storytelling and design excellence has earned us over 250 awards, not to mention the honor of being named “Business of the Year” by the Leesburg Partnership, as well as “Partner of the Year” by Lifestream Behavioral Center, The Lake County Education Foundation, and the Advent Health Waterman Foundation. We were also recognized as “The Health Hero” by the Lake County Health Department, all of which underline our deep connection to the community.

In 2012, Akers Media expanded its horizon into a full-sized marketing agency. Our team of experienced professionals includes experts in advertising, graphic design, branding, web development, social media management, and video production.
