Albany Medical Center, based in Albany, New York, is the region’s academic medical center and a major private employer in the Capital Region. The 766-bed facility provides comprehensive care across disciplines, including one of New York’s busiest emergency rooms and trauma centers, a children’s hospital with a dedicated pediatric emergency department, adult and pediatric intensive care units, and organ transplant services.
