AMG MOTION PICTURES [formerly Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures -ESMP] is a business unit of Byron Allen's ALLEN MEDIA GROUP, the largest independently operated syndication producer / distributor for broadcast television. AMGMP is a first class theatrical distributor with a focus on wide release commercial content.  With its 2017 hit shark-thriller 47 METERS DOWN (Mandy Moore, Claire Holt), which grossed over $44MM at the domestic box office, AMGMP next rolled out Scott Cooper's HOSTILES (starring Christian Bale, Rosamund Pike and Wes Studi) IN 2018 and grossing $30MM during it's run.

With other successful releases like the dramatic political thriller CHAPPAQUIDDICK (Jason Clarke, Kate Mara, Ed Helms, Jim Gaffigan, Bruce Dern) which grossed $17MM; and the shark-thriller follow-up: 47 Meters Down: UNCAGED - AMGMP is poised for new films which are in development [2023] with a slate forming for 2024 and beyond.
