The American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is a nonprofit professional association representing more than 12,000 otolaryngology-head and neck surgeons who diagnose and treat disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures. It is based in Alexandria, Virginia, and operates within the nonprofit sector.
