American Kitchen Delights, Inc. is a premier manufacturer of custom prepared fresh-frozen foods and contract food processor/packer operating out of Chicagoland since 1986.  American Kitchen Delights’ experience, equipment and flexible production methodologies enable us to offer a broad variety of food products that meet the highest standards of quality and value.

American Kitchen Delights, Inc. (AKDI) is independently owned and has steadily grown and prospered in the 30+ years of operations.  AKDI started operating out of a 3,000 square foot plant in Skokie, Illinois producing private label bread rolls and pizzas.  There were several plant expansions between 1986 and 1993, but in 1994, a move was necessary to accommodate growth. American Kitchen Delights moved to a  32,000 square foot building in Harvey, IL (20 miles South of Chicago).  Since 1994, American Kitchen Delights has more than doubled its size to approximately 80,000 square feet with expanded production, cold storage, warehouse and office space.

AKDI provides food products and packing services to a wide range of markets, such as retail grocery store chains and club stores, foodservice, hospitality, broad liners/distributors, military and travel markets. We serve our customers as a co-packer or as a private label manufacturer, according to their individual needs.

AKDI has an extensive library of product formulas but also can tailor or customize to customer requirements or formulas.

Product categories includes: Pizzas, Sandwiches/Hot Handhelds, Prepared Foods/Entrees/Ethnic Specialties, Appetizers/Snacks, Baked Goods, Soups/Sauces/Dips and Co-Packing/Assembly/Processing. Products are produced under American Kitchen Delights brands or under customer private label.
