BlueStar Retirement Services, Inc. was founded in 1991 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and was acquired by Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. (Ameritas) of Lincoln, Nebraska, in 2021. BlueStar provided a variety of plan types and specialized in pooled plan arrangements, including Multiple Employer Plans (MEPs) for associations, professional employer organizations (PEOs) and Pooled Employer Plans (PEPs).
