The Arizona Burn Foundation, based in Phoenix, Arizona, is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of burn survivors and their families across the state, with a history dating back to 1967. It stands out as the only private burn-focused foundation with staff located at a burn center, bringing together medical professionals, emotional support teams, and families through an integrated network of services. The organization offers HOPE Services, including emotional and peer support, financial assistance and resources, developmental programs, school re-entry support, and scholarships, to support recovery and personal development for survivors. In addition, Prevention & Education efforts include a statewide Community Smoke Alarm program, a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Smoke Alarm initiative, and children's safety education through Milo & Moxie programs. In May 2026, ABF expanded its smoke alarm program through a partnership with Rescue Retriever to extend protection to entire households, including pets, highlighting ongoing community outreach.
