Do you remember your first State Fair visit? 

The twinkling lights on the rides, the “thunk” of a baseball hitting a barrel, coins being tossed, live music all around, the sweet fried taste of a funnel cake or airy cotton candy.  Did you pet your first pigmy goat, watch your first rodeo, a monster truck spin and spew mud, or learn where milk really comes from? Or maybe you watched a magician make a rose instantly appear, or learned how to make Orange Marmalade?

Do you remember your first date at the Fair? Were you holding hands on a “scary” ride, kissing on the Ferris Wheel, or trying desperately to win a giant stuffed animal to carry around all night?  

Or do you remember the first time you took your children and grandchildren to the State Fair, and watching the expressions of wonder and smiling at their squeals of delight?

Much of life whizzes by so fast it’s a blur.  Yet some moments create memories that stick forever, like your State Fair.

Thousands of Blue Ribbon competitors, judges, thousands of workers, countless hours of planning, hundreds of ideas all come together to create smiles and magic for over a million Arizonans each Fall.
