Ascencia is a nonprofit organization that provides homeless services and shelter in south Glendale, California. It offers a spectrum of housing options—from street outreach to emergency and permanent supportive housing—paired with case management and counseling for individuals and families, and it operates with a small to mid-sized staff. The organization serves people of all ages, including those with disabilities and service animals. Access Center operations run on weekdays, opening at 7 a.m., with intake interviews held Monday through Thursday and daily closing times of 4 p.m., except Thursdays when it closes at 2 p.m.; the agency is closed the last Friday of each month. All entrants to the emergency housing program must complete an intake and drug test. In April 2025, Ascencia hosted its 17th annual Gala, a sold-out event reflecting ongoing community engagement.
