AITP-LA is a professional association of IT Management professionals, a chapter of the national nonprofit organization, www.aitp.org. We are an award-winning (2014 COPA, Chapter Outstanding Performance Award and 2014 ROCA, Region Outstanding Chapter Award) chapter, growing and vibrant. LA is the birthplace of the Internet, and the flashpoint of many of the pioneering and enabling technologies in high-tech, aerospace, software dev, video, film, entertainment, music recording, clean tech, datacenters, alternative energy, financial services, and many other industries. Our membership, speakers, and attendance reflect this scope. Our purpose is to create professional development & networking for the IT community in the greater LA area. We provide an ever expanding realm of in-person and online resources for IT Management to allow them to stay in front of changes in technology, business, economics, and leadership issues. We provide actual leadership experience in our working committees and Board, and welcome you to volunteer what you do best, or something that’s a stretch for you, or something you think we should be doing for our members. We can help you achieve some positive results that will be very visible in the chapter, and to National. Monthly dinner meetings and special events are open to all with online registration. Speakers include the Strategy Officer at Microsoft, the VP of Information Architecture at Hewlett Packard, the VP of Platform Research at SalesForce.com, and Infrastructure, CyberSec, Cloud Computing, Legal issues, Leadership, and Big Data experts. Membership is two tiered, National, then Chapter. We look forward to meeting you.
